What we wanted was good diving, based on our previous Red Sea experience in El Quseir . And we thought we'd do some dives together, so we picked a hotel we thought would have plenty of kids, baby-sitting and a kids club. Well, that was not what Hotel Pyramisa in Shark's Bay offered, so Ferry did the diving and Mirjam snorkelled some and spent lots of time with the kids in the pool.

The hotel was beautifully situated and was comfortable. The food was good with plenty of choice and there's a nearby beach.

There was good snorkelling just in front of the hotel. We were, however, not at all pleased by all those people using the reef as a walkway!
